We Made it to Colorado!!!!!

After several days in Delaware and 30ish hours in the truck with three people and three dogs, we arrived at our new home. Lucky for us the third person happened to be our photographer from our wedding, as well as my brother-in-law, so now that the pics have been posted on facebook I can steal them for this blog :)

We love our new apartment! It feels about 1000000000x's bigger than our old one. It is located only 10 minutes from my work (finally at a Super Target!) and 15ish minutes from downtown Denver.

Michael wanted to see the Rocky Mountains, so on Sunday that's where we went. They were amazing! Also, cold.....very, very cold. Driving from the foothills to the top of Trail Ridge Rd. the temperature dropped 20 degrees. (Being the smart person that I am, I wore shorts)

We drove through estes park and also stopped in Grand Lake, CO for dinner. Where we saw the moose patrol.

Even though he hurt his knee, Chris REALLY wanted to play golf. (just look at that form! I bet you can't find the ball)

Today, we visited Cherry Creek North shopping center, where I found some free stuff on what to do in Colorado. I have several of our next adventures planned out, just as soon as we get some money saved up.
The highlights of the first 4 days here were of course seeing the Rockies, going to the mall (it was soooo big, and fancy) which including walking through Tiffany & Co. and Burberry for my first time ever, finding a park near the apartment with paddleboats (they weren't open for renting yet), and going to a Dave and Buster's for the first time. Next on the to-do list is finding the botanical gardens, visiting the zoo, aquarium and nature preservation, and finding Chris a job! Also, one day in the not so distant future we plan to go ziplining and indoor skydiving.
